  Keynote Speaker:   Don Wilson |    Founder & CEO of DRW  Donald R. Wilson, Jr. is the founder and CEO of DRW, a principal trading firm with more than 800 employees at its Chicago headquarters and offices in Austin, Houston, London, Montreal, New York and Singapore.    Don started in the industry in 1989, focusing on capturing opportunities in the markets through technology, research and risk management, and founded DRW in 1992 while trading in the Eurodollar options pit at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. DRW has since expanded into real estate investment, venture capital and cryptoassets.  Don is an influential leader in the financial futures industry and in 2010 founded the FIA Principal Traders Group. He is co-founder and board member of Eris Exchange, a designated contract market which trades an interest swap futures contract, and is the co-inventor of the Eris Exchange’s intellectual property. He is co-founder and board member of Digital Asset Holdings, a company which leverages distributed ledger technology to improve the settlement of financial instruments.   Aaron Wright |  Associate Clinical Professor of Law at Cardozo Law School and the Director of Cardozo’s Blockchain Project.  Aaron Wright is an Associate Clinical Professor of Law at Cardozo Law School and is the Director of Cardozo’s Blockchain Project.  Professor Wright’s research focuses on blockchain technology, and in particular smart contracts, decentralized organizations, and the regulation of autonomous code-based systems.  He is co-author of the book Blockchain & the Law: The Rule of Code (Harvard University Press).  Professor Wright has assisted a number of blockchain-related projects--including the Ethereum Foundation, ConsenSys, Filament, and BlockApps—and is the co-founder of the smart contracts-based project OpenLaw ( http://www.openlaw.io ).  He is the chair of the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance Legal Industry Working Group, serves an academic fellow at Coincenter, and is an editor of Ledger.

Aaron Wright is an Associate Clinical Professor of Law at Cardozo Law School and is the Director of Cardozo’s Blockchain Project.  Professor Wright’s research focuses on blockchain technology, and in particular smart contracts, decentralized organizations, and the regulation of autonomous code-based systems.  He is co-author of the book Blockchain & the Law: The Rule of Code (Harvard University Press).  Professor Wright has assisted a number of blockchain-related projects--including the Ethereum Foundation, ConsenSys, Filament, and BlockApps—and is the co-founder of the smart contracts-based project OpenLaw (http://www.openlaw.io).  He is the chair of the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance Legal Industry Working Group, serves an academic fellow at Coincenter, and is an editor of Ledger.
